My kitties have never had so much with any other wand-type toy than they have with this one! They know where I keep it and go and sit by the cabinet until I play with them. Have never seen either one so happy or excited by a toy:)

Got my one year old active 13lb cat this toy, and so far in two days he has yet to destroy it! Every feather tease wand I got him before was ruined within 24 hours. My mom's cat is a grouchy kitty, and hates to play with my cat, but I actually got them playing side by side with this toy..no hissing or growling!! They both go crazy for it!! It is more expensive, but I will never go with any other tease toy that Jackson Galaxy hasn't approved first! He knows his stuff.

My 4 year old cat is absolutely crazy about this toy! The first night I put it away(in a place where I thought she could not get it) it was laying in the middle of the bedroom when I woke up. I now have to put in a closet at night. I bought 2 and gave one to the cat rescue(no kill) that I volunteer for, the cats love it. This is the best cat toy ever!

my kitten loves loves loves it, my 2 year old, (who had apparently been traumatized by toys before we got him; he'd run away, and do a weird twitchy thing with his head every time we'd try to get him to play)loves it, and even my grouchy 9 year old female wants in on the action. worth every penny.

Our Rescue Cat Loves This!

Received this in the mail today and our newly rescued kitty loves it. We rescued a cat who had been abandoned from a local shelter. We are keeping her indoors because of the many coyotes in our area. This is my first experience with an indoor cat. Saw Jackson recommend this product on TV and thought we would give it a try. Meko had been lukewarm in her reaction to other toys, but she loves this one. She leaps, jumps and truly enjoys herself. This gives us an opportunity to interact with her and bond with her. Our 12 year-old Greyhound just relaxes on the couch and looks at us like we are crazy. This is a well made product with easy to replace feathers. I would recommend this to any cat owner looking for a safe toy that is sure to engage your pet's interest.

Bestest kitteh fishing pole ever!

Including the toy this morning we have eight kitteh fishing poles... scratch that we actually have one because all the others stink. Our 6 yr old feral rescue kitty loves the sound it makes, the way it spins more like a real bird and it's the first time I've seen her this excited about a fishing pole. She just never liked the other ones and wouldn't jump for them but this one makes her leap and get into quite a bit. Thanks Jackson for the great recommendation!

The Best Cat Toy Ever!

I bought one for my six year old Persian and she has gone bonkers over it! When we finished playing with it for the first time, I put it up on the mantle and she sat there and started at it for a half hour. Now, the minute she sees me pick it up she is suddenly awake and ready to play.

I have had cats my entire life, and can tell you this toy is a Winner! Most of the toys I buy for my kitties end up being played with for a short while (or not at all) and end up in the toy basket with all the other toys my cats quickly lose interest in. Ever hopeful, I bought "Da Bird" because of Jackson Galaxy's description of it sounding like a bird's wings flapping when you swing it around. I figured my more energetic boy cat Rascal might like this for awhile although his more docile and quiet sister Muffin would probably just watch from a distance. Wow, was I surprised. The minute I waved the wand to try it out, both cats came running to it! I have never seen my cats jump so high to try and get the "Bird!" They absolutely LOVE IT!
I have had it for about a week and they still love it daily. My whole family enjoys watching the cats do their crazy twisty jumps to get it. Muffin will go into a "hunting" mode and stalk, then run and try to pounce on this toy. Rascal is getting better and better at catching this mid-air at a height that would get him drafted for a pro basketball team! I don't know who has more fun--the cats or me! I do let the cats catch "Da Bird" every once in a while so I don't feel like I'm teasing them (it's surprisingly durable.)
Tonight both my cats figured out that it doesn't get away as quickly when they catch it in their mouth and walk away with it--pulling the pole along behind them (I let go.) I laughed so hard when they started doing this--like it is alive and they proudly captured it. I have to actually hide the toy when I go to work. Both cats seem to be happier after playing and Rascal purrs loudly afterward. Although "Da Bird" is an interactive toy and requires my total participation, I enjoy playing with the cats as they make me laugh and they are getting great exercise.

Don't go for the cheap stuff you can get anywhere. believe me- I have.
It's a world of difference between "Da Bird" and the rest of the feathered fishing rods you can buy in the stores.
Just try it- you won't be sorry.
It's durable. your cat will love it!
I bought mine in Israel because i couldn't find it here!!

My cats love the 'whirring' sound the toy makes. It is light and easy to use, and the long rod means that you don't get tired swinging it around. If you want your cat to burn calories leaping and running to catch the 'bird', this toy is for you!!!
